Africa Day 2014

Development Education, News/feature, Ireland, 2014

The countdown is on to Africa Day 2014! Africa Day falls on the 25th of May and to celebrate we have quite a variety of events happening all around the country.

The flagship event will take place in Farmleigh Estate, Dublin and will feature three stages of lively performers and musicians, delicious food, an African Bazaar and a whole lot more.

Events in Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford will kick off on the 17th of May and will run until the 24th of May. There’ll be African dance, music, storytelling as well as talks and workshops on development and trade.

The Africa Day events are fun filled family days and are completely free to the public.
