Information and questions to consider for volunteering overseas
The Centre is located at 27-31 Upper O’Connell Street in Dublin’s city centre. It is convenient to Luas, Bus, Train and Dart services.
O’Connell Street is serviced by a number of Dublin Bus services. Please see the Dublin bus website for more information.
It is a ten minute walk from Connolly Station where visitors can access Dart, Luas and regional train services.
The Luas (Red Line) is a five minute walk away, on Abbey Street. This line goes to Heuston Station where visitors can access national train services.
The Irish Aid Volunteering & Information Centre is open:
Monday to Friday: 10am–5pm
Thursday: late until 8pm
Saturday: 10am-3pm
