Access to water in South Africa
South Africa, Water & Sanitation

The new water supply in Lefahla village has brought real improvements. Before the system was built in 2007, most of the 60 households were reliant on a river around 5km away for their water. This meant a one-hour journey each way. Irish Aid is supporting a number of NGOs in Limpopo province to provide clean water supply systems to isolated rural communities.
